AIMatcher.cloud (“we”, “our”, “us”) is designed around a simple principle: your personal data belongs to you. Our AI matching technology works best when you share openly with your AI personality profile — but we believe that openness should never come at the cost of privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and authentication credentials.
  • Profile Information: Information you provide during aima conversations with the AI Matcher, including your interests, values, preferences, and responses to personality questions.
  • AI Profile Data: Data generated by your AI personality profile during the onboarding conversation with Aima. This includes analyzed personality traits, values, lifestyle preferences, and compatibility criteria.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including feature usage, session duration, and engagement metrics.
  • Device & Technical Data: Browser type, device information, IP address, and cookies (subject to your cookie preferences).

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your AI personality profile that powers the matching algorithm.
  • To analyze your conversation with Aima and generate compatibility-based match recommendations.
  • To improve and refine our AI matching algorithms through aggregated, anonymized data analysis.
  • To communicate with you about matches, platform updates, and support inquiries.
  • To ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

Data Protection & Security

  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 protocol.
  • Your AI personality profile data is stored in encrypted databases with strict access controls.
  • We perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain platform integrity.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only, on a need-to-know basis.
  • We implement industry-standard measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Period.
  • Anonymized, aggregated compatibility data may be used to improve matching algorithms across the platform.
  • Your identity remains hidden from other users until both AIs determine a strong mutual match. Even then, only the information you've chosen to share in your profile is visible.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • We use third-party service providers (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) who are bound by strict data processing agreements.

Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Portability: You can request a copy of your personal data at any time.
  • Correction: You can update or correct your profile information through your account settings.
  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated data. Your AI personality profile will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • AI Data Opt-Out: You can disable AI conversation logging while retaining your account. Compatibility matching will be limited.
  • Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent for data processing at any time, though this may affect platform functionality.

Cookies & Tracking

  • Essential Cookies: Required for platform functionality (authentication, session management, security).
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how you use the platform to improve user experience.
  • Preference Cookies: Store your settings and preferences for a personalized experience.
  • You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
  • We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or third-party tracking.
